FundScroll accepts subscription payments in USDT on both BEP20 (Binance Smart Chain) and ERC20 (Ethereum). Here is exactly how to pay and what to know before you send.
FundScroll accepts subscription payments in USDT — the most widely held stablecoin — on both the Binance Smart Chain (BEP20) and Ethereum (ERC20) networks. This means you can pay for crypto services without a credit card, PayPal, or any traditional payment method.
USDT (Tether) is a stablecoin pegged to the US dollar. Its value stays near $1.00, so you always know exactly what you're paying. It's available on most exchanges and wallets, and transactions settle in seconds without the volatility of ETH or BTC payments.
FundScroll chose USDT because it's the most crypto-native payment method — no intermediaries, no chargebacks, no foreign exchange fees.
| Network | Token Standard | Gas Fee | Speed |
|---|---|---|---|
| Binance Smart Chain | BEP20 | Very low (~$0.10) | Fast |
| Ethereum | ERC20 | Higher (~$1–5+) | Moderate |
Use BEP20 if you want lower fees. Both networks are accepted, but BEP20 (BSC) transactions cost significantly less in gas fees. If you hold USDT on Ethereum and don't want to bridge, ERC20 works fine — just expect a higher gas cost.
Important: Always double-check the network. Sending BEP20 USDT to an ERC20 address (or vice versa) on an exchange can result in lost funds. On a personal wallet, the token is recoverable by switching networks.
Stripe and PayPal support is on the FundScroll roadmap for users who prefer traditional payment methods. USDT will always remain an option.
